It's almost as if VW have set the rear end up so you can even have a Rear beam or Fully independent rear suspension. Mines the latter, and there are weird shaped wishbones and beams going everywhere! I'm sure if the car is up on ramps there is a certain angle of which you can get more leverage...

Great choice of wheel! I always get that pattern if the car is mildly warm still. A friend of mine has taken the sound deadening foamy carpet s**t out from under the bonnet, apparently it aids with the noise of the car. May try it at the weekend ;).
