I have, it's fiddly and takes ages but it looks good. The only problem was the centre console clock. That's supposed to have bulbs in it but my old 05 182 has some strange kind of SMD's in it that nowhere sold, they had 4 mounting points as apposed to two.
In the end I wired in two bulbs from...
Might want a special car, love how they look, the fact there is only a limited number, the seats etc. It's not like you need the advantage the sachs give you on english roads really.
But I see you point, which is why I own a cupped 182.
Exactly, it's not like cup shocks offer bad handling, they're still epic cars with the cup setup. I'd keep sachs in a box if I had a trophy. Genuinely.
Every time a "new" model of car has come out in the past 3/4 years I've liked it less and less. They're all starting to look so similar and so boring. This is easily the worst.
At that mileage I'd just check it's had some bushes changed etc as they will be worn out a bit. Shocks too. As long as it's had regular oil and filter changes and belts done it should be ok. They don't rust in my experience. Seen some tiny bubbles on rear arches of a Ph1 but that's it.
I'm on my fourth now!!! (Not trophy) there's just something about them. Every time I've sold one it's been to buy a different colour or model (ph1 to 182 etc) except my inferno which I sold to save money. The 1.3 diesel corsa that replaced it actually cost me about the same in fuel and the 1.2...
80k, strangely not a stone chip on it though :S don't know if the bumpers seen paint but there was nothing to indicate otherwise and I'm not complaining!
I bought a new radiator came to fit it then realised it was the plug so nicked the new rads plug then returned it for full refund... Don't look at me like that.
