OK! Cars running lumpy again! been into Renault tonight (for mot) and while i was there i asked them to clip it and have a look again! reminding them i think it is the coilpack. diagnosis showed nothing this time! what you guys reckon? should i change the coilpack and how much are they?

I had mine a strong red. Just used Hombrol Enamel paint, gave a nice shiny finish. Then i got bored of them over a couple of months, so did them Lime green in the same paint. On a 02 plate metallic grey clio :p

strangest weekend. Clio has been running lumpy and missfiring, generally being a pain. Engine light kept coming on and thing kept cutting out and stalling. Found it was firing on second cylinder! ok not a problem! Must need new plugs! Off i go to car spares on Saturday. "rare plugs" he says...

Can i buy a set of dials off eBay and do it to them and then put them in my Clio so if i mess them up i dont ruin my originals? or does the little computer with mileage, mgp and so on have to be the original one?

who would want an annoying infared remote you have to point at the unit? my friend has one, its no where near as quick and easy as the stalk controls! you sound like someone who does not have them!

Apparently this unit does not work with the stalk controls, because it does it does have the remote input on the back!

Can anyone recommend a nice Sony, or other mp3 head unit around £120 possibly with bluetooth that works with the stalk controls in a Renault Clio! Thankyou!

if you have a sub, you probably wont need to do rears, but fronts are well wort doing, because i have a sub in the rear, i went for 3 ways up front for the best treble up front and some kick ass bass up back!

mines a 1.2 Dynamique and there 13cms! Stick to two way components or singles!! dont use 3 way, your car will lack bass! unless you have a sub like me :P

OK guys, I finally got to the bottom of it. Behind the steering wheel in the middle of the stalk assembly is a coil which allows the horn and airbag wires to rotate. It has a system in it which only allows it to do 2 full turn either way. It has clips to locate it onto the back of the wheel...
