Yes I've read that before - I think it was in Evo last year. Didn't they use a mk2 version with less power in the test?
Having owned a M100 Elan SE with a Lotus approved BBR upgrade I was kinda disappointed to read that as I though the car was simply amazing!
I often wonder in these tests if...
Blu-ray for me is fantastic, can tell the difference easily.
Can notice the difference between;
SD source
SKY HD 1080i
Blu-ray 1080p 24 fps
Planet Earth on blu-ray is absolutely superb!
I ordered mine from Mark Fish and paid £33, but that was almost 3 years ago.
The biggest problem might actually be if there is any new stock still available, as the last time I was at Marks he mentioned to me that certain motorsport items for the 172/182 are no longer available from...
I've seen the Gadget show report and I didn't think it did that badly considering the tests involved - not the best camera for still landscape pictures granted.
For Motorsport video use its great (check out the videos on the link above), also features an optimised microphone and at this price...
There are many different grades and types of TFR on the market, some will strip wax others are designed to add a wax layer.
Regular snow foam use IMHO is fine, just don't make the mix too strong.
Same here, never had any issues with regular 'snow foam' use deteriorating my wax layers during this summer before I broke my foam gun. :( But then I was testing a new wax or sealant every over week. :)
Snow foam is basically a mild TFR with an added ingredient to help produce foam when used with suitable foam lance or spray bottle.
The chemical used to produce the foam can actually break down the cleaning process of the solution if too much is used in production.
So a milder mix may even...
I meet with this company at the Sema Show earlier in the year and have been talking to them re UK distribution.
As a cheap option its not bad at all, I've got one here in my office. Although haven't had time to play with it yet.
Here are some pics from the show;
A good QD will lubricate while drying and add a wet look gloss finish, repel dust and also remove fingerprints and water spots.
I use #6 Spray & Shine QD from Britemax.
Wax wise for durability, take a look at Collinite.
You have PM.
Autoglym shampoo is probably there worst product?
SRP is great, EGP is okay.
Possible additions to your list include;
waffle weave drying towel, QD spray, maybe a wax or two, snow foam & lance for pre-washing etc
FINAL SHINE from Britemax is designed to remove light oxidation & light to medium staining from bare metals. The unique formulation of FINAL SHINE will provide a 'chrome like' appearance on polished aluminum with a protective resin polymer sealant...
I've got a new product in stock which is suitable for polishing plastic for use either by hand or machine. I've not yet tried it myself on plastic headlights - will speak to the manufacturers on Monday and find out if they recommend it for this purpose for you...
As others have said, at least you are okay.
Did the same thing when I was 17, rolled my car - slid 30ft down a grass bank into a river, sunroof opened with water pissing in.
Removing your seat belt when up side down is also very tricky.
Chalk it up to experience and learn from it, it will...
