    My Inferno Project

Recently removed the wheel spacers as i wasnt keen on them and have bought a cheap set of standard 182 alloys to be refurbed and they need two new tyres. Decided i wanted to go back to 16" alloys again and although i do prefer the OZ F1's i couldnt find any in 16's so may have to stick with the...

    My Inferno Project

Cheers craig, not sure tbh just assumed it would be the spacers as it started just after fitting the front ones. Will look to run it round a garage and get it checked, thanks :) Any other way to check if it is ?

    My Inferno Project

Having an issue at the moment, have recently fitted hubcentric spacers and im getting a knocking from the front passenger side when doing low speeds. Had a look around on here and checked the spacer which seems tight and flat to the hub. Anyone have any other idea's as to what could be causing...

My clio has been rather unwell as of recently, Started off with a poor idle and having a tendancy to rev on its own. Unfortunatley this progressed to an electrical warning light and then going into limp mode before finally the engine management light coming on. Showed up as a Throttle position...

    my clio 182

Cant remember exactly mate but i think it was around £70 (covered the re-licensing anyway). Yeah great imo, it felt a lot smoother accelerating and had a better idle than before hand. It does seem to be well recommended too.

    My Inferno Project

Ah rite, i had thought about coilovers too but im happy with the sportlines, cant see much difference in the ride between them and my standard cup springs either. Yeah i went for the pure motorsport stud conversion as wasnt to keen on shorter bolts either. It seems highly recommended from guys...

    My Inferno Project

Thanks mate, there 15mm FK spacers on both front and back. There hubcentric and bolted to the hub, found that my standard renault bolts were slightly too long so decided to go for the stud conversion rather than buy smaller wheel bolts too. Yeah im happy with the arch gap too, its on sportlines...

*** Update *** Got out this morning and had my new Rainsport 2's fitted and at the same time had my tracking sorted as it was quite a bit out. With the spacers and tyres fitted the arch gap looks a lot better than it did previously after fitting the 15" F1's in my opinion and it does feel...

*** Tyres arrived *** My new 195/50 Rainsport 2's arrived this morning from Camskill, had the rainsports before and couldnt fault them so will be looking to get these fitted over the weekend hopefully and will be getting the tracking done at the same time. Still have a few more plans /...

** Update ** Not a big one im afraid but managed to get the 15mm front spacers fitted this morning, just waiting on tyres to arrive next week and then will be off for fitting and the tracking doing :approve: Should hopefully look a lot more tidy with new tyres and a good clean.

Noticed a few threads on here mention the ABS could be the source for the speedo not working so may be worth looking into with it only starting after fitting springs. Ha ha i havent mate, what kind you after an i'll keep an eye out ?
