Im am interested in buying one of these chips!! Pete it states you live in yorkshire, Does that mean total tuning is in yorkshire if hes ur friend? as thats where I LIVE!!!! Do total tuning sell these at a fixed price?

I have just turned 20 two weeks ago but at 19 with 1 years ncb and driving 2 years i payed £1300 third party fire and theft on my own policy. Im a spray painter and a panel beater though so if I crash i repair it, unless it aint my fault!! lol

Theres a leak inside the car, waters getting in from somewhere and settling under the drivers seats in a big puddle!!

So does this chip actually work? How much did you pay for yours mr stabby?

Dunno if this is in the right section but... Can someone tell me what the warrenty is on my 172. Its a 52 plate and I have a few problems and want to know if any of them are eligable to be repaired under warrenty. Trip computer resets itself and a bad leak which forms under the drivers seat.

I am looking into buying a set of 15" steel wheels or a cheap set of alloys for the track or strip for next summer. What tyres are good, I dont want to spend a fortune on them I just want a reasonably good tyre that quite cheap.

What sort of bhp can I expect from my 172? I have fitted: Janspeed decat, induction kit with cold air feed, Breather filter(if that does owt?)

I have just fitted a janspeed decat to my 172, the sound is nice and im quite suprised but there is a big difference on the bottom end!! Anyhow when you put your foot down it almost vibrates ur arse off the seat and makes a knocking vibrating sound! Horrible! any1 else experianced this?

Iv had my 172 about 2months now and I cant seem to find the trip computer. If i press the button on the end of the wiper stalk then loads of things come up like mpg etc.. but which is the trip? When I stop the car it all resets itself after a while!!

No probs, believe what you want to believe. Paint is a better finish full stop, powder coating looses its shine, laquer doesnt! Im leaving it at that coz its going nowhere, every1 has there opinions.

Why do you want to remove the paint?

Sorry Fred didnt know you was a paint expert! Look I refurb wheels for a living, I do about 8 a day, I can guarentee you paint is stronger! And if powder coating was less chip resistant than paint and a better finish then why arn't our cars powder coated! You go to your local renault dealership...

Il do them for £50 per wheel. Im a spray painter, Can do them any colour and they will be done in a proper spray booth with standox paint.

Driving the car yesterday and noticed the temp gauge was sky high and the engine stop light came on. I topped it up with water as it was low and then it was fine. Today I was driving and the same thing happened again. Now I can see water dripping from the bottom of the radiator, I think iits...

Oh ok. Well im fitting a k-tec decat at some point next week so I will probably remove the 2nd sensor then, as I heard this can cure it? I always run mine on high octane anyway so it cant be that! Anyways thanks for the help bud, Much appreciated!! :D

Ok, iv let the car dry out all night, gone to start it this morning and the light is still on. Just wont go off. Its the light at the bottom right hand corner. Shaped like an engine lights up orange.

Dunno its the light right down in the bottom corner, orange light shaped like an engine. Il try the car again in the morning and hopefully it will have dried out. I dont have any decat fitted but will have shortly.
