Mine took 1 good coat over the blue but thats with proper standox automotive paint that you use with a spray gun, Its thick and covers well. just wire the remote wire to any switched live which goes off when the ignition is turned off, its only to turn the amp off when the ignition isnt on. Get a 12v tester and find a switched live wire

I have now found a fuse had actually gone so i have replaced it. everything is now workig as normal except the washer motrs dont work at all now, not even a noise? and they were both working earlier as i tested them on the battery. could there be a problem with the wiring to the pumps??
