i contemplated this idea, just waiting for my phase 1 airbox to be delivered so i can checkout dimensions and fittings etc

whats the difference between the 'cup racer' v6 espace airbox and the phase 1 airbox? is it just larger volume? would this make any difference over the phase 1 airbox?

type in obd2 code readers on ebay that is all you need. the little orange hand held thing. the 380 version will be fine. cost about 30 delivered i think. plugs into the on board diagnostics port (obd) inthe car.

My intial thought was option one and most the comments support this. I might get the itv panel and test both but sounds like people have done this already and chosen the ph1 thanks for all the advice. Dave

check the sizes, if you look at sports cats on ktec pictures 'LOOK' about similar size, but i dont know for sure, maybe ask ktec...

map it for 97, most 100 stuff is artificial and degrades by the time you put it inyour car i was told...

sorry to hijack but i also just bought some uprated cams. Would you recommend changing anything else i.e followers / springs etc? as i asked the question of ktec and they just change the camshaft and thats it... will do cambelt at same time i think. Cheers
