My mates clio has a bad wobbley speedo needle all the time mine only has a slight wobble at 40mph

What does this sound like chaps?? When car is being driven and ive hit the brakes my revs will either rise and then drop down or will stall. This has only happened a few times but then other times its fine???? ROB.

When you lowered it 30mm did you change the shocks or any other bits just curious i want to lower mine? what year and mileage you done? where did you get the splitters? rob

so upon lowering your car, other than springs and shocks what else would ned changing? i only want to go 35mm to 40mm.....

I tried the wd40 idea didnt work very well, it got on to the belt a made it slip through all gears, gone now though. It sounds different than that could it be the water pump anyone no what noises these make? i no theere not meant to make noises which if it is this im gonna have to take it...

Upon going in my mates standard vts and comparing my clio mine definatly feels like its got a lot more grunt and is ever so slightly faster... Any one no what i mean? p.s. Are the 106gti slightly smaller that the saxo they do look it but i cant be sure??

Alex M mine has done 76k did it stop come summer time? I dont think i could put up with it all year round! this will be the first winter ive had with the car and its only started d0oing it recently since its been really cold. I had the new water pump fitted a couple of months ago and its done...

The garage told me the shocks are fine all engine mounts are fine, would i need to replace the whole mount or could i just get it taken off and refitted? is it a difficult job? what could i expect to pay for this job? would you say a toyota mechanic would have the knowledge to do this?

isnt it just one belt does everything on the 16v water pump power sterring pump etc maybe it is just the cold it just sounds horrible goes within a few moments though......

If it is a seazed caliper get it sorted asap this happened to me in an older car the calaper wouldnt release, i was giong down the motorway then i smelt this horrible burning smell pulled over looked at the front disc and is was glowing red!!!!!!!!!

When the car is driven from cold over the slightest bump, dip in the road............... Its definatly coming from the front right hand side, the best way to describe the noise is it sounds like there is a squeek rattling/ rumbling around!!:confused: Maybe gets worse during cornering not really...
