Cheers Alan, we went and had a look at a few today and drove an 08 Cooper. I think she is wanting one still covered by the 5 year TLC, so that limits what she can get.. The one we drove however, felt like a rocket compared to her punto, and had all the options, heated seats, parking sensors...

You can buy a brand new 133 Cup for £9995. I very nearly bought one. My brother bought his 6 month old RS133 with every option for £9500, so you just need to know where to go. They aren't selling well so there is discount to be had. I actually prefer them to the clio's. I've not driven a 200...

Very honest! Looks 10x better on the CSL's. As much as I appreciate how good a car it is, I've never really liked it enough to WANT one. Think its the 'soul' you mention. I'm not keen on the front end looks either. I like the steering wheel though!
