i think the 197 is alovely looking car never driven one so dont know the pwoer issues etc but they are in different leagues to be honest its like comparing the 172 to the williams they are good in there own way...thing is why would you buy a car without trying it first very very strange!!
it is really what ever you can get for it mate it looks a mint example with great choice of mods..you may not got anything this time but put it back on ebay and you could get a whole different spectrum of people and it will get snapped up straight away...mileage i think is irelevant when it has...
yeah mate i know it aint helpful but alot of threads about this around here...i tried to remove mine but i could not get my fat hands in to get the nut off the benefit mate basically is that you can get a really good air feed down there for your induction kits etc...the best way is an itg panel...
i would love one of these a bet there are insane to drive i had a 65bhp one for a courtesy car and that was rapid to be honest i cant imagine all that torque and around 135bhp marvellous...and still get high mpg..you must be crazy!!!
i think mate the car does not allow you to down into a gear if it feels the revs will actually damage the car or are to much but i may be wrong this is why sometimes it wont let you engage it
