Tried to go to the docks, but they wouldnt let me in to take pictures :S
If you restricted to Megs products then the best option would be their three step stage - polish/cleaner, sealant, wax.
If your not, then go with Rich's suggestion.
Wanted a good excuse to put my A-level revision off, so I thought Id do the "big" clean.
Took me 12-13 hours.
Started by washing (two buckets & wash mitt) with Sonax gloss shampoo
Then worked the whole car with AG super resin by hand
Then applied the 1st layer of AG EGP by hand
Left for 24...
The Story
Bought the car last October for £1100 with 65k, as my first car. Didnt want to post pictures untill I got it in a reasonable state.
The Mods
In order - RSI Alloys, Clear side repeaters, silvervisions all arond, CS sticker, 60mm apex shocks & springs.
The Clean
I did the "big" clean...
BAH! still pretty hard to get off.
What am I doing wrong?
This time I..
Applied very little using an applicating pad,
Left for roughly 60mins
Buffed out using a MF
Most of it comes off ok, but it leaves streaks that are hard to get off.
I dont get it :( lol
I put the first coat of AG EGP on today after some AG super resin by hand, left it for 60mins as instructed, but when I went to buff it out it was really hard to get off. Arms are bloody cained.
On the back it says buff out gently, have I applied to much?
Its also left some small spots...
do you leave a 24hour gap between..
a)Polish --> sealant
b)sealant --> next coat of sealant
c)Any coat of a LSP
oh and one more lol
Is there any point of applying Extra Gloss Protection if you havent used some Super Resin prior to this?
Cheers :)
