For me, the main advantages of "Bigger Brake Kits" are:
.Pedal feel is greatly improved
.Stopping power is improved
.Cool Points for the looks
.They tend to hold fade off much better
That would apply both for my M3 and past clios, they also give more confidence in the car for track work...
Yeah, The M3 is uber quick, at oulton there wasnt much getting past on the strights bar a touring car and a 650hp evo.
0-60 in 4.5 seconds
0-100 in 11 seconds
Max speed 185mph
The ctr is about 6.5 to 60 and 0-100 is 16iirc
I would use Ircarus or Paul if I was mapping a ECU for a clio, there both local and Ive never heard a horror story.
Fred for anything that needs a spanner/grinder ha.
Porka was easy 5k of damage (not that bad just the carbon fibre bits looked expensive)
The TVR looked worse than it was as its fibreglass!
Other cars were cheap toys by the looks of it, just a few dints and bent wishbones!
Its proberly about the same weight as your TT tbh m3 is 1500kg iirc, it will be much quicker and the fun of RWD.
Maintainace and insurance will be pretty much double though, last service in mine was 2k.
CTR was my mates car, In the morning he was much quicker due to y shiting myself on...
Had a great day today!
M3 was awesome in the dry and scary in the wet, its such a rocket ship! Brakes were mega too, thumbs up for the yellow stuff pads!!
Quite a few crashes, GT3 hit the wall as did a TVR! Druids claimed about 4 other cars too! Someone even managed to bin it on the slow...
Yeah must of been super deep, also if you say its in the backbox then it most of got over the axel bend.
if it was that deep it would of got in the car from the underpan too!
LOL cabs are slow anyway.
When that saxo his the gearbox's top speed of about 130 the M3 would sale past to about 180.
Some twit in a spoofed up VTS was trying it on with me the other night, his still wouldn't be told after I overtook him about 7 times then I would brake, he would fly...
I’m going in my M3 at Easter, the DSC will be staying on lol! Been 3 years on the run now. We just take it a bit easy on some of the blind bends. If you can see the track ahead then we normally nail it.
I think if you queue up and get on then you sort of accept the risk, even if you didn't...
