hi phil, i know what you have had done, but maybe if you where to tell people the exact work that has been done to get that extra power and maybe the name of the tuners in question (might help get some sensible pricing guesses)..still waiting to get mine in...;)

mike, the rac trackstar has several packages, i have the 24hr protector on mine, basically if somebody drives off in the car without using the key fob it activates the alarm at the base they then contact the police and myself. also if by some slim chance the thieving gypsie in question manages...

i have a similar prob with my k-tec twin....its only held up with a cable tie! every now and then it "drops" and it then catches on the framework and makes a hideous rattling noise till u put another tie on now its twisted slightly also, we need brackets methinks!

same as any other car i reckon, get your good ones and your bad, mines bin good so far; 172 [2002 mk2] just done 14k and no probs, only thing ive had to replace is the rear wiper....

not all the cars have the prob m8, my sport did, lowered 30mm with 17s i had rubbing, i had the arches rolled and the screws that r in the arches changed for rivets helped so as it only rubbed on full lock [nearside rear] funny how it only rubbed on one spot. i went back to 16s not long after...

where u from dave? as u have k-tec and bb tuning also...

sounds positive eh...im off to GDI early july for head n cams remap etc on my 172, when does ur warranty run out jay? unless u get a bad egg warranty isnt upto much i didnt think, wot could go wrong to a new car in 3yrs? {cue something to fall off now} :oops:

hey fred is ur conversion finished? u doin it urself? booked in at GDI for head n cams etc then its prob tbs for me but not fully decided so any info on conversions apart from k-tec is helpful :oops:

iv only had it dropped 30 and u feel it too, still got 16s n over a bumpy road its a bone shaker, 75 n 100...u must be hardcore eh
