Compared against the cage, and dash strips the shade of anthracite is nearly spot on! Granted the amount of fleck in the powder coating is much higher, but overall it looks awesome!
Cheers bud!
The finished result isn't too bad either...
Fair play to @drjekyll it looks much better with the gaiter, but I think the powder coating has helped for sure.
In other news I've sold my Recaro Trendline's to Alex, and today put a deposit down on a pair of Corbeau Club Sports...
That's good to hear buddy!
As I've pre-ordered a pair this morning direct from Corbeau. I went for the XL versions (for the larger gent) should hopefully be in stock mid August!
What subframes did you go for?

You'll need a bloody anchor to stop this thing floating away Dan!
You've made huge progress in such a small time frame! Top work buddy.

Cheers bud.
I'm really pleased!
How do you find your Club Sports? They will be more than likely the replacement to my Trendlines.

Powder coating is awesome!
As previously discussed I was looking for a local powder coater's for the PMS gear stick sleeve. If anything to please @drjekyll [emoji23]
Turns out my good friend and fellow Clio geek @loggyboy has his own oven (literally an old kitchen oven) and his own powder...
I've found a local powder coater to me, so rather than me paint it and ruin it! [emoji23] I'll give them a shout and see if they can do a decent anthracite or similar to tie in with the cage and dash strips.

Cheers Keith!
Plan is to get some spiffing 4 pots like yours possibly Hispec, or maybe Wilwood... I also really like the look of those front hubs.
What are they like? Did you notice a big change out on track?
The Yanoo kit is highly regarded, but I personally don't have any experience of...
After seeing yours painted Mark I knew I'd have to do something similar, as it looks much better.
I haven't taken it apart yet, but I presume you just remove the gear knob and pull the outer sleeve off ready for paint?

Curse you Mark, and all you stand for! [emoji23]
That doesn't look so bad to be fair. Maybe it's the original zinc colouring that doesn't look right IMO
I'll paint the stick first, and then get the gaiter on... Happy? [emoji6]
Managed to fit the new expansion bottle this evening. Another...
I've already got one bud, just don't know whether I like it fitted with that absurdly long gear stick!
This just arrived in the post from @dablk who is an absolute gent to deal with, both as a buyer, and seller.
Will try and get it fitted later, and will upload some more photos.
Be glad to...
I'm not sure bud. I doubt it just because my car is going down the whole 'clubsport' route as far as the interior is concerned. Unlike you're stripped out beast!
It really is a smart bit of kit! Pure Motorsport products are really well designed and made. After fitting their exhaust...
36!? f**k that! I've been melting all day regardless...
Cheers bud. I'm really happy with the shifter, even with all the extra noise and vibration it brings.
I see what you mean about the whole OEM+ I'll see how I feel, but it's one of those things that's quick and easy to change if I need to...
Fitted this little beauty yesterday with the help of @KrisRS182 managed to get it secondhand from a friend for £150 including the anti vibration weight!
The deal was made if I removed it, and installed his original shifter!
Straightforward to fit, but a pain to adjust...
The main sleeve is...
The Quaife is amazing bud isn't it!?
Really took me by surprise the first time I experienced it on the road!
Granted to really notice the difference you have to drive like an utter t**t out on public roads, but get it out on track, and it's money very well spent!
Interesting to read about...
Me to bud! Well overdue a catch up!
Reading was the last time wasn't it!? I'm sure Tim will arrange a local meet soon that hopefully we can both attend.

The gold looks great Tim! As do the Brembo's!
I was going to spray my track 2118's gold, but think I'm going to keep them white after Blyton.
What are your thoughts on the lowered subframes now you've managed to fit them? They're great IMO.
Top work buddy!

Just like me Kris still has standard seatbelts for day to day use. That way you've got the best of both worlds.
On the road harnesses are awful especially at junctions etc, and on track normal seatbelts just don't give you the required support, as all you end up doing without them is support...
