Im sure it can take it Geoff. I thought it wasnt a great deal of mileage that you will have to do. I did something like 65k in my old one in 18months.

I used to have a magnex oval on my mk1 172 and now have the twin round k-tec on my cup and the k-tec is alot louder. I too am going back to have the centre silencer fitted at no cost. Yep K-tec rule :D

Look in the 172 gallery on page 3. Trev_m has the 6x4 oval on a mk2.

I know someone has a twin round on a new model and I swear ive seen a pic of the 6x4 oval on a new shape 172 as well somewhere.

Rear pads are the same as the 16v I was told.

Take your engine cover off and you will see it where GIRTH says. My manual says it is between the coolant and power steering too as did my Mk1 but nope.

Pointless in my opinion. When they already do a 225bhp turbo which I agree is underpowered though. 3.2 V6 should be good for 300bhp out of the factory I reckon otherwise whats the point. Cant remember how much its supposed to be but it would probably be cheaper to get the 225 turbo and chip it...
