I think all in all if I could of afforded the 172 i would of got it. But as the cup was in my price range i thought itd be a good time to own my first brand new car :o)
Well cambelt changes are 72k or every five years. If youre doing the belt you may as well stick a new water pump in there, save yourself some time when it finally does go.
i know how you feel my Cup was done when it was two weeks old. why mailto:w@nkers">w@nkers do this for ill never know. more than likely will be kids, id make the parents pay, it may make them think twice about little juniors actions
my supervisor was looking at the new Mini cooper s and the review he read said they got 19mpg on their test. Talk about drinker! and i though my Cup was juicey.
trouble with tyres is that everyone has a different view. Some say put new tyres on the back, others say swopping back to fronts is more dangerous as rear tyres wear differently.
Does anyone know for sure what is the safest way to change your tyres?
petrol is expensive enough as it is, i dont use super etc. Just give it some stick when you want to, obviously it wont do it much good if you cane it all the time.
Im still getting used to the clutch, theres no biting point on it at all. i stall it more times than a learner lol
When you put the hammer down in the cup the steering goes real light and it feels like its wandering a little. has this got a name, im no brilliant drive lol
went back to the garage with mine and the mechanic i took out for a spin seemed to think that it was just the gearbox catching up with the engine! mine clunks when going from 1st to 2nd and under load.
He said that it sould be driven at 4k revs and doent really like smooth driving, its a race...
