Awesome job buddy. How did you use IronX, I bought some recently (and opened inside the house...crist, never again) but read you can use it on paint, did you use it all over before claying? Just the same as you would on a wheel?
Just a shame about the product IIRC. Its not what you want at the best of times, but on the motorway with a blowout or on the side of the road anywhere.
Oh god, I always thought they were the best. I won't be buying any of these then. They're not cheap either are they?
Will you be sending them back for a claim?
I have had a few budget ones, like JVC, Pioneer and Alpine, and the Alpine one was brilliant, it was only about £70 boxed and being run by an Alpine amp, but it sounded good. But my mate had a twin vibe 12'' setup with a amp built in, and it sounded gash, like it was too much in a small car...
The 1200w is the peak power of the sub, depending on the sub normal seems to be around 600w RMS from what I can remember, but if I was you, i'd buy quality not the crap you can buy at Halfrauds.
Yeah defo, I mean its the best thing you can do money wise. Like I said, if you join up you can get the HC discs for £45 off a trader, and there is a man on here that can sort Goodridge hoses for £30 delivered, if not there always seems to be group buys for these things.
As for making the...
Well you'd need a big amp, or even two to power that setup I believe.
And it depends what the RMS of the subs are not the peak power. People get draw in by the big power of the subs but that figure 9/10 is bullshit.
I bought the braided lines for my 172, thinking, their only £30, it won't make any difference but I want them. So bought them, and to be fair they do get rid of that initial slight sponge feeling, but not a massive amount.
And as for discs and pads alot of people rave about the Brembo HC discs...
I have been looking at the DAS-6 Pro for a while debating to get it or not. Basically, I do a little bit of buying and selling cheap cars, so perfect for practicing :) I have a Clio, and the paint isn't bad, but my missus has a 2003 Ibiza with more light scratches and swirls than a banger car...
Cleans all the brake dust out the way. As the squeaking is caused by vibrations.
The easiest way to be done, as I don't like to use copper slip as all the brake dust sticks to this and makes a mess.
Im just renewing mine at the moment, to start on the 6th of June. Found a price of £745 Fully Comp with £500 excess.
Im 21 too btw, with 4 years NCB. I put my Dad and my Girlfriends dad on it aswel as my girlfriend (but she put it up by £50)
That was with Elephant, but Admiral and Bell was...
Might be worth putting a boot on then actually?
EDIT: Anyone used one of these?

Basically my OS inner driveshaft boot has the smallest split in it, and its throwing grease about, not too much at the moment but I want a new one for it.
I have an account it Euro Car Parts, and its normally a very good discount, but are Q-Drive as a brand alright? As thats all they sell...
