So long as the only drive that is set as active (to boot from) is the XP drive it should be allocated the drive letter C and rules follow on from there. You'll need to make sure that the drive you want to boot from is set as active.
As said above it's all in the EXIF data and is sometimes stored but it's usually lost when the file is specifically compressed (as in the Photoshop like Rich says).
A good tool if you have Firefox is an add-on called Exif viewer.

Do the following to see if the computer sees the router:
Start -> Run -> typpe 'cmd' and click 'Ok' -> type 'ping 192.168.0.1' and press enter.
If it responds with anything other than a reply then it doesn't see the router properly.
