MOT wise, tester can fail anything they deem louder than a standard exhaust.
Recessed plate should not pass an MOT, but tbh, discretion of the tester...
Yeah but a 182 has no wheel well and an exhaust in the way?! where is it going to bolt to?!
And towbars are under MOT now, so have to be proper, not kev in a shed prepared!

I will be pretty sure they will have data loggers! So will log when a van is started and stopped etc, and where it is!
There mint, our parts supplier's vans are tracked, mint when i ring up mithering, and they have a look, very very accurate!
