if you have taken the plastic pannel of the boot. Cut off some of the metal. i dont think the boot needs to be so strong. ive seen a boot welded shut before and it was litteraly just the outer skin left
im looking to fill my bump strips,
Ive done plenty of filling but does anyone have any tips, im just worried about it all falling out when someone closes the door.
pictures of the wiring? no point lol i coverd mine with tube and hid it lol. But i can try and draw a diagram later. have a look if your dipped beam bulb has 2 cream coloured wires going to it.
i have the same problem with full beam. And dont have the fuse to get both lights on when i click the stalk. But i installed a relay into the wiring to activate the full beam when dipped beam is on. for some reason my dipped beam has 2 positive supplys. 1 for when its just dipped beam...
i cant seem to find any pictures
am tempted to fill my front number plate recess on my mk2 ph1 any tips on how best to do it? as ive got a feeling filler will fall off lol

dont risk putting them in an oven. i tryed it and they got the slighetest bit to hot and the plastic sagged.....
use a hot air gun (on low) or a hair dryer.
nah probs not. Gf was driving her mk1 with no backbox :-O just went to pick up some new springs.
And yeah i like the result. anythig else going the same colour?
id recomend getting rid of the 6x9's as they will only be damaged/cancled out by the sub you have forcing air straight into the underside of them..... upgrade the front /rear speakers...
Just wondering if it's as easy as it looks to just plug in and use the little screen in the centre of the car. Thatgives radio read out etc.
Or if someone has one I can plug in to test. Before I buy one.
Can't remember the name but I Get it from tesco. Comes with a little brush for cleaning. Think it's. Autoshine. Can't remember. But got brake dust of my alloys that hadn't been cleaned for about a year.
Any one done the conversion to rear discs on a mk2 ph1 ?
Just need to know what to do with brake lines.
Do the normal solid lines plug into the calipers. Or will I have to change them completly. Or. An j plug braided lines onto the end of the solid ones then the calipers.
Any help...
It does depend on what your servicing. My dads brakes last years. Yet mine a few months as he's on motorways all the time. Also his airfilter clogs up faster than mine lol
But yeah car looks goooood
