Eibach springs would suit yours well - not sure how much they are though.
On the non-sports they drop the car more and still leave it "comfy"

Getting a long Nikon/Sigma f2.8 lens + TC will no doubt cost a lot more (even 2nd hand) than the Sigma supertele but the Sigma could leave me with a "happy medium"?
