If I heard someone breaking into my house I wouldn't just cower away I'd go ballistic with whatever 'weapon' like item I could find. Probably at this moment a 1/3 size baseball bat from Spain hahaha :P
Fully Comp is cheaper nowadays pal.
Something to do with insurers realising that most new and unexperienced drivers go for TPFT so they bumped up the price. Doesn't really make sense. Just make sure you get quotes for both FC and TPFT to make sure your not paying extra for less.
Coolant should be completely uncontaminated. I just got rid of mine and refilled it with fresh (coolant + deionised water mix).
I wouldn't put it in a bucket and pour it back in. Not worth it just get new coolant for a tenner.
Had both my rear ones done a few weeks ago, parts off ebay where £20. Got them changed at a garage near work for £65.
The press part is just to get them out as they are solid-width bearings iirc.
Mine was getting it really bad in the morning to the point where the inside was frozen worse than the outside.
What I do know is when I'm about 3-4 minutes from home, open both windows and turn the blowers off to get rid of the hot air. Doesn't seem to do it now. :o
Mine came off not so long ago, did probably about 100-300 miles I'm guessing with no cap on. Was a nice big mess haha. Just cleaned it the best I could not had any problems since then.
Took a picture of my clio today, not washed it for about 3 months and closing in on around 2k miles... It's sill bloody shiny! I'll try and get the pic off my phone tonight
Rear wheels have been making quite a bit of racket, so I've ordered a set of wheel bearings for them both.
Just wondering what I will be needing to change them correctly as I don't quite fancy my rear wheels flying off. Don't think I'd enjoy that much..
edit: They're drums btw.
