Is it neils trophy? If so it won't be "bodged" up. Cat D cars do not require a check to be put back on the road, only Cat C cars. I repair cars which are in a Cat D state everyday and they don't get checked.

My brackets have been "modified" with a bit of force, the wheel liners have been removed and the metal bulges inside the wheel arch area have been smacked flat(ish) with a hammer.

Re: Dirty b**ch on ledas I can take it lower, the springs have some kind of metal spacer that's supplied with them. One has already been taken out but I think I can take another out to send it a bit lower.

Re: Dirty b**ch on ledas Thanks mate, I might just take the front a bit lower as if I wanted to lower the back even more i'd have to take the springs out again. I've sorted out the slight creak at the back. I soaked all the bushes in release oil spray and it's been fine every since.

Yea that's one thing in my mind on whether to take it any lower. At it's current height it doesn't catch speed bumps at all. The arch liners have been removed.

Have had them on for 1 week so far and they are amazing. The ride is sooo is nice compared to previous budget coilovers i've owned. The ride height, track and dampening have not been fine tuned as of yet. I've gotta bang it on the ramp at work to see how far out it is.
