There are no battons. Blockwork > Metal spacer > Plasterboard.
I'll probably go with these - http://www.tvbracketsdirect.co.uk/order.php?action=4&id=14
I've used them loads in the past but will they be enough to hold 28KG's and the weight of the mount?
I'm happy to use them for £20 shelving but a bit reluctant for a £800 TV.
IIRC (someone will correct me if I'm wrong) there's two sensors. If it's the one in the CAT then it's not so important but if it's the other one then it might not be wise to be driving the car around.
Saying that I wouldn't panic just yet as I could have it all wrong.

You've been on this forum for 7 months and you've just got round to asking that question?
Anyway.. There's numerous differences but a quick search will reveal all.
Send him an email about the scratches.
I wouldn't mention anything about it being the wrong spoiler as you have kind of admitted yourself it's the one he listed and if you then subsequently mention scratches he might just think you're making up excuses to send it back.
The name/description of the cpu is hard coded as "Q6600 @ 2.40GHz". If you go into "System" you'll see it actually says something like "Q600 @ 2.40GHz 3.20GHz".
