    here's mine on 40mm springs as a comparison ph1 172 so dont know if it would sit any different, but you get an idea of the height

    4 Days into ownership and its started. . .

    obviously there is a limit as to what you can sand, but i very much doubt you'll do much damage with sandpaper. here is mine that i did with sandpaper. Also did the fuel rail guard.
