Mine allowed a downgrade to 4.3 yesterday. Download the standard firmware, put the aTV into DFU mode then hold command and click restore to select the FW. Once it's done do the JB.

Downloaded an installed aTV Flash. Not sure if its been mentioned but it takes out all the need to SSH yourself etc for easy install.

See I have my CallerID changed to my email address and just made sure anyone I was messaging with had my email address added under the me on their contacts and it all syncs up nicely now.
