    My Bosses 4S is vastly quicker than my Clio over 100mph. & I'm betting I wouldn't be that far off you. I've had a taste of a couple of charged clios and they are for lack of a more technical description RAPID. But a 4S is in a totally different league. I can keep with him up till around 60mph...

    3.1 on paper but 3 is fine. They do it in 5 ltr drums also if you fancy some spare

    clio 172 cup gearbox help

    This. ^ Main shaft bearing will stop when clutch is pressed too. Sounds almost like a wheel bearing (the noise). Refurb time :(

    Use Tranself 75-80w. When my box was refurbed they used another off the shelf oil of same grade, but changed last week and has made a massive difference to the box when at running temperature, A lot smoother. That's just my ten pence although it may not solve your crunching problem

    dog bone mount, put the hand brake on and rev it as if to maneuver if you hear it clanging it's gone Get a polybush one :) (it's directly behind the gearbox)

    428s are fairly worthless with ITB's you're better off saving your pennies there and go with what you've been told.
