New one has an airride kit waiting for it... YAY.
The guy at Havair on the phone was top dog and really helped me out. Plus I knew a few lads running have air kits and they all sing it's praises! Quality on it seems great too. Cost £1700.
Things I need now:
- Chassis notch.
- Fit Air lines, compressor and tank.
- New top mounts, and suspension pinch bolts.
- DIN size blanking plate, which I will use to replace the useless CD changer and mount the switches on it.
- Install the struts.
For a company that deals in suspension around the £2k mark upwards, Havair's communication is pants. On the phone he said "It'll go out thursday via night freight and you'll get it friday, I'll email you a receipt and hopefully a tracking number"
Come thursday, no email. So I email him asking...
Yeah I forgot about that, throw in a single fly if you want big power. Again if you ring Revo up, they will give you fantastic advice. Most remapper's will only take 130's up to 150 unless you have the flywheel upgrade and/or a better clutch.
Was just going to update this!
I hope that video shows people why this car is awesome. Not only will it just not go away but it really gives an inside to the fabrication that's gone into it, it's art in it's own right imo. Well, to someone who appreciates the difficulties that must be involved...
I've heard nothing but good things from Revo, and their prices are good too! Give them a ring as they will give you good advice.
And yes mate, same price as the site. If you want it fitted by them its an extra £200. Chassis notching is £100.
Gave Havair a ring tonight, and ordered their "Option 1" kit. They have it in stock so he said it should be here friday (With any luck) and I can start getting it sorted over the weekend. I don't by any means expect to get it fitted this weekend, but might finish it off next weekend.
