I accidentaly bought one of these second hand 6 months ago thinking it was a Genuine renault 182 one for my clio 172 ! Has anybody fitted and used on of these stainless manifolds ? what do people think ? Has anyone had there car on the rolling road for comparison on the factory 182 manifold ...

How hard is this to remove , does it just unbolt or is it abit more complicated on these engines ? I just wanted to get it painted or powder coated

Its probably sitting as it should but im just used to engine sitting perfectly straight and not on a slight tilt :-)

Ive just re-nstalled my engine last night on my own after it sitting in my garage for over a year ! Ive noticed that the engine sits on a angle ? the front of the engine sits higher than the back at a angle I assume this is correct as the lower engine mount is in position and the upper engine...

Gearbox bolted upto engine lastnight and hopefully get this fitted tonight if my up rated engine and gearbox mount has arrived

It's aligned just need help with identifying which bolts to use ! havent got a pc at home at the moment as its broke so struggling on my iPhone :-( any help would be great :-)

Anyone help with which bolts secure the gearbox case on place ? cheers anyone got a schematic showing the bolts and the gearbox ?

Well I picked the box up and aligned the bolts of the box with the two holes and the box is flush against the engine do I'm assuming that's ok ? if there was an issue I assume the gearbox case wouldn't move all the way to the end ?

Any advice on people best methods for aligning up and bolting gearbox together ? Am I best using the engine crane to lift the box or would it better 2 of picking it up and aligning onto the shaft ? cheers finch

Yeah I've seen that it seems to be a common problem that they fail . i thought I had read that pirtek had made them up for someone on here . i will have to get a 2nd hand set and hope for the best I guess :-)

I took both pipes to pirtek in Ellesmere Port and they said they could make them up ? could anyone advise me on this as i was looking to get both of them made up before re-fitting my engine cheers ​finch

whats in the set dan ? Im re-installing the engine . I havent opened the engine up
