Never with Logmein, but I have administered RSA ACE in the past in conjunction with our token based VPN authentication for remote users.
How old is the ACE system? Whats the situation with Logmein? You're using is as a corporate remote solution?
Thanks for your input here mate, much appreciated.
I'd love to say that their system would use a given range, like your example of 192.168.55.x but the truth is, I have no idea what they are going to do or use. Our management want a hard and fast answer to their question "What do you need" in...
Thanks for the replies. Looks like my idea makes sense then?
Will do mate.
It’s a government run health care organisation that uses an internal clinical system. It isn’t published extrernally hence the ‘internal’ connection we have at the moment.
No mate, our network is massive –...
The management has approached me with some info.
We access a system on someone elses network that uses a 172.248.x.x address range (Their network is massive) and we connect into it via a 10mb point to point leased circuit.
Our network is also massive and uses a 192.168.x.x address range. up...
Re: Steering pulling to the right after gearbox replacement but tracking is spot on??
It's all guess work bud. The guys who put the box in have missed something. Take it back.
Something ain't right - mention the ideas on here
No chance, that will cost money. I hate the fcuking thing anyway, especially in this weather. But I'll do it if everything else fails!
Good call, weekend job this shall be. On the look out for the valve to replace if its broke.
I did read that low temperatures also cause the non-return...
A Mk2 172 - with a Ph1 engine - not that it makes much difference.
Just taken it out and the pedal is still a bit hard, but did a few emergency stops (ABS deffo not working) and returned to base to see the discs a little warm.
It would appear that in my haste to dismiss the ABS light, it...
Started the car up and noticed the brake pedal was a little hard. still managed to stop me at a slow speed, but when I came to apply the brakes at the junction, we nearly went straight through it. Applied handbrake and we just stopped in time!
I've checked the fluid and its fine, went for a...
Re: Steering pulling to the right after gearbox replacement but tracking is spot on??
Maybe the subframe isn't on tight at all and there is movement when going over bumps :S I hope not.
I'd take it down and have them look at the bolts mate wont take them two minutes - they could also look and...
Re: Steering pulling to the right after gearbox replacement but tracking is spot on??
Just remembering your old posts - who put this gearbox in?
They forgot to re-connect the earth cable, your gear likage is set incorrectly (remember you had issues with selection being tight after fitting)...
Re: Steering pulling to the right after gearbox replacement but tracking is spot on??
Its one thing after another with you.
So the guys checked the tracking and centred the steering wheel? You're sure its not just your steering wheel thats off?
When the gearbox was changed, was the subframe...
Valid.
When we put the new engine in mine, I reconnected the arm incorrectly and 1st was 3rd! Jacked it back up and adjusted.
Sounds like you could get the gears, just the arm was bent, or damaged from whatever you hit. Which makes your £700 bill a little difficult to swallow.
Having said...
weigh it up:
- head gasket cost = £400?
- new engine = price for engine + fitting + pi$$ing about = £1200?
- 172 conversion = £3000
you can buy a 172 ph1 for £1200.
Just fix the head.
Womans did it.
Nothing I could find, maybe get it plugged in, prob just dicky french attempts at soldering.
Although her ABS ring cracked a few montsh later... maybe it was trying to tell me something.
