Agreed with dave, they are different, the light sockets on the ph3 is more rounded as apose to the more box shape of the ph1 & 2 light sockets!

Quality that mate, it looks good now wit that carpet, tbh id take the side rear panels off and do the same with wood and carpet so it all looks the same, shouldnt be too hard to do i dnt think. Thinknin bout doin the same to mine now tbh to stop the lifts! Make sure u get the pics up of when...

stay on as far as im aware, just open it so u can get to the underneath or the panel. like stu says just take the wipers off and the whole thing should just clip out!

hmmm looks nice but im not convinced yet. The amps in the back could do with a better effort to hide all the wires insttead of just having em all visible or is there something missing from that like a cover?

lol give it a few days when uv got another problem an im sure u wont feel so looked after then. But as said above, if it has been sat there a few weeks then ye mite take some time to get em rite. get some proper cleaner and give it a good drive an should sort it out.

lol wouldnt it be more advisable to do the conversion before the respray just incase of scratches etc. I know the mk1's like the back of my hand too but still would never do anything as crazy as this lol. Between both my mk1s iv had nearly every part replaced! Good luck though pal.

Not always, could just be a split in ur CV boot (the rubber bit) but if its left too long with no grease in then yeh ull need a new drive shaft or itll just destroy itself
