hi guys i think now is the time to upgrade the airflow on my 172 but with everyones opinion i am wanting to do the following:- itg panel filter - anyone get this cheap for me please removal of acoustic valve and standard air feed (a how to guide on how to do this would be excellent)...

can i just double check guys if you fit an induction kit of some sort this will be by passed therefore creating the affect as mentioned or not?????????

i there are no real gains to be had from any induction kit even the maxogen surely it is better having a kit that does not cost the earth but sound nice under the engine..look at the gen 2 k&n filter these are highly thought of in the civic world through various tests because of the sheild...

this is so silly lol no one really knows which is the definate best do they? any proof on rollers etc that can do this vipers are always slated but then people with them say they are good also!!! arggggggggggggggg lol :-)

if you had an open kit with a stainless steel heat sheild and good feed from the front and elbow would this not be a good set up...i find it strange that on most highly tuned cars like made japense cars they all have open induction kits and the guy who had a 200bhp cup on her with cams chip the...

why it has carbon casing that protect from heat and draw air from cold air feed that can be position wherever you want i have heard very good things about this kit from many other friends on other forums that have tried it which include a saxo vts, 182 172 cup focus st170 etc

i had one on my cup and the gear response was excellent and defo made a difference when powering down the tarmac but its bloody cold in winter lol i am interested in one of these to any links to the bb performance one which would everyone say is the better?

heard it gives very good gains actually and simota back up the claims with individual print outs of their tests.. i think that is right lol

silly question is this the same 172 as 182's etc and it does nothing to harm the car except increase a little ion throttle response ummmmmmmmm detailed procedure for doing this would be great and pics as well cheers again

what is this part there for and will anything be damaged long term by its removal would it pass its mot without it on etc? where abouts is the part anyway and how do you get it out i would like to try to see what happens
