I've not heard of any specific speedo related issues no, could just be a loose wire/connection. T reg clio, poor condition £1200, good condition £1800. I sold my T reg 1.2 Clio with couple of dings and what not for £1600 two years ago.

CAPS LOCK is bad....mmmkay. If the speedo isn't working the odometer is probably also not working therefore it could of been to the moon. Personally I'd not touch it.
