i always thought :-
the less pressure the better the grip, the more tyre wear (hence drag racers having such low tyres, or is this becasue the air expands at high speed)

Renault set up our cars to give the best all round performance, and a good job they done too. however, no matter what way you look at it by uprating...
i was always told the RS2000 was in theory.. a cosworth but without a turbo? in anycase that wouldnt stop me from chasing one. i would have thought the RS2000 weighs alot more then the Clio16v... you should be about even.

with LSD i was told that if a wheel comes off the ground, say for instance when going round a bend.. the power if forced to the other wheel!! in turn ripping the steering wheel from your hands. very good on a smooth race track, not so could on bumpy country roads... tho i could be talking...

i was told "Super unleaded 97Ron" was an Optimaxs equivalent?! just another brand name. i never notice any change in performance no matter if i use std unleaded / Optimax / super unleaded. Its all in the mind if you ask me.
