Little bit of an update, quite abit has happened over the last week or so. Sport rear bumper has now been fitted, started a full blue / white led conversion, and i'm off to pro-speed tomorrow to have a new exhaust fitted. Pics will be up sometime tomorrow.

Same thing happened to the girlfriend's car with the wiper. Tried absolutely everything and nothing would get it off, so took an angle grinder to it. Downside is you'd need a new wiper motor..

Why not just clip it back together and use it? Pop a screw in to stop it falling out, go where you want to go, as soon as your back just unscrew, unplug, unclip and you're back to where you started!

I've been doing a few bits and pieces to my car over the last few days, and it seems everytime i sort something, something new breaks! On the trip computer, it's not showing the MPG and miles left in tank. Instead it's flashing '----' ? All other functions are working, so i guess it's a sensor...

Xenons would be my first choice, but even standards would look smarter than angels imo.

Are they both internal? If so, along the bottom edge of the back windows would look best imo. The URL's look spot on above the grill on the bonnet, but obv you'd need an external one.

Got round to replacing the cheap halfords wiring kit i got with my amp. Theres 3 sets of RCA's at the back of the HU, and i accidently put the RCA cables in the 'line out' instead of the line in. Took HU back out to sort it out, as i pulled the RCA cables out the head unit turned off. Fuse...

^^ Look blue too me mate. Can't decide wether i like it or not tbh, so i'm sticking with my white rev needle and red everything else. How would i go about illuminating them blue? Would colouring the bottom edge of the needle in felt tip work?

Mileage is stored in the clocks, but havn't got a clue how much it would cost to get the mileage corrected if you did it on a different set. Might be cheaper to just keep an eye out for clocks with a similar mileage to yours?

Re: LED Dash cinversion All sorted with the display now! Nothing wrong with the board atall, i just didn't tighten the screws going into it tight enough! Easy fix, means i can finally put my dash back in lol. Yeh i started taking the paint off the needles as i didn't want red, then realised...

It's normal mate. I just turned the auto lights off, doin' it the old fashioned way :cool:

Re: LED Dash cinversion I havn't knocked or drop anything, and i've checked every square mm of the circuit and there are no marks or anything that look like they shouldn't be there. Would somebody mind educating me on how lcd screens work lol? How could 4 smd's not connected to the screen...
