Why should anything go wrong?
The vast majority of 172s are fine, we are but a tiny minority of 172 owners so when we get a few problems it seems that every other 172 has a problem. The fact is we probably push the cars more than most so some problems may arise!

Theres no way in this world a MK2 172 will do 60 in 6.3 s, as much as I would like to claim it could! I just dont trust the AP unless fully setup!
Regarding the Cup feeling stronger at higher revs, this just seems strange to me. I dont doubt your findings however, it only leads me to think...
