ok... With ppl in the back it just rubs... but where? I dont know what you call it, but its on the side where you fill up the tank... the tube has got a plastic shield (canvas wheel??!) that can be pushed back or even taken off... this way it wont rub.

The cat is no problem, since Im not using it for now. To MoT it will be in place. Even with the cat would it pass knowing it has a "fast road" spec cam?

How wild can you go reprofiling a cam an geting your car passed on a MoT? exhaust measuring.

Colin_s, can you give me numbers of your re-profiled cam? What about the CO measuring? Trying to get all this done on a 1k Eur budget. Its going to be hard to pull.

I changed my ignition wire set for a lucas one. Why? just because I couldnt see why go for magnecor or even splitfire. I mesured the electric resistence of the 3 wire sets and lucas and magnecor were similar. Splitfire was 4 times less resistence... but Ive heard so many bad things about this...
