Hmmm Insurance, well, I aint found a company yet that will let me run it on the road, although I found one that would insure it for use on track/dragstrip (Adrian Flux) as long as the bottle is disconnected whilst on the road.
Th only other way I know of insuring it is to get Car Traders...
Tom, I think Im right in saying that if there isnt enough fuel, itll run lean, and if it runs lean it will cause BIG problems with the engine :(, a wet system is setup to give enough fuel to compensate the amount of N2O being injected, thus allowing the car to fuel itself as normal, and when...
Erm, the HighPower systems are wet not dry, as they supply a mix of fuel as well as N2O into the inlet through their Crossfire injectors.
Because of the (reasonably) tight limits on the ecu in the 172 youre better off running wet, thus as soon as N2O is injected fuel is in there too, if it...

It should be ok, why not? the overall diameter and width of the whell&tyre will/should not be any more than you currently have otherwise your speedo will be majorly out, or am I going completely ga-ga?
Im still around guys! :D
Mike, you know what youve got to do, custom means they really do tweek it for your car, as we all know these 172 engines are all different, some quite majorly, so the only proper chipping is a custom map with tweeks done for your motor.
Ill be at the Midlands RR day...

Well mate, I wondered what was going on late last night when you changed your msn profile, hehe
Ok, your 17s had a sidewall height of 82mm and the 15s have a sidewall height of 101.75mm, now this nearly a 25% increase in sidewall height, this gives more flex in the tyre which will affect the...

Well, this should be the same as the 172, if you follow the bonnet release cable from the handle in the left hand side footwell, youll get to a large gromet with a small hole (which takes the release cable), make a new hole through that and feed the wire through there, you should have enough...
This is just a mad mad mad world, did you get his number plate? the police probably wont do anything cos thats just what theyre like nowadays, but these people need dealing with, one way or another.

Cheers Jeremy, you wouldnt be any chance have the wheel-only weight of the standard 172 wheel would you? Ive only got it with an Eagle F1 on it...... and I dont know their weight yet.....
-john.
Has anyone got the weight of the 16" cup alloy(with the tyre)? is it that much lighter than the 172 alloys?
What weight (if any) did they gain by changing the alloys?
