Ive just gone out to my car to go to work, opened my car with my clifford alarm which was fine, the went to use my plip key, and nothing happened. My batteries fine, and the batteries in my plip key and my spare are fine. Any ideas? I have a mk1 ph3

Where is the best place to buy these from? Been thinking about getting one for a while now, and due to getting lost on the way to a place i was working at yesterday, Im looking at getting one. Also do they get power from the cigarette lighter? Cheers

cheers for the pics. Made up my mind now. Couldnt decide between the cup or full fat, but the cup looks so much better. Not a fan of the 172 leather seats so cup is better option i think. Nick

Your kit looks pretty bulky, and the spokes in the wheels look really skinny in comparison. What about lenso reizen. They would look pretty good.

Wheels can make or break a car, especially with the amount of time and money youve put in. I think an 18" multi spoke wheel in shadow chrome would look really good with the paint work. Or Konig unknown or tuner wheels. Just my opinion. Have you got uprated suspension already, or just springs?

I wouldnt bother mate. I got a 1.2 aswell and theres no point trying to get extra performance, cos its not gunna happen! Just wait and save for a better car imo

The rear archs have to be rolled. Got mine done at r-tec when i got the wheels. The front is lowered on 35mm pi springs. To go lower you need valver front wings. The rear is either 2 or 3 notchs on the torsion bar. looks alright but its not very practical. The rear tires scrub round tight...

Has anyone got a motorized screen on there mk1? Im after one, but not sure it it would open out properly without breaking due to the location of the head unit and cover. Dont really want to start messing with my air vent to relocate the screen. Any info, pics would be helpful. Cheers

Are they golf aniversary wheels? the v6 should be kept standard. Prefer the mk2 myself as i like the grill and lights.

Very different. Better than the standard wheels imo, but think racing blue is too light a colour to pull chrome off.
