I did the NTL thing a few months ago. 3 for £30 deal. When you add all the stuff you actually want it works out to about £42 though. Quite happy apart from a few niggles which are now sorted. 2MB Broadband is decent with good download speeds!
Exactly! Top gear isn't about testing everyday cars. It celebrates the passion for cars and driving, like Evo magazine. If you want reviews buy Autocar!
Try and get one with face detection. Canon Ixus, Pentax Optio and Casio Exilim are all good. The new Sony range is out towards the end of February which are definitely worth a look!
Neither do I. Add 0.5-1 sec to that like I said in my post! I'm saying you aren't going to notice a huge difference from standing as the power delivery is totally different. I'm not slating the thing I was just expecting something different!
Your talking what 0.5-1 sec quicker to 60, I don't know. Of course they are quicker but you don't get that sensation as it is a nice smooth delivery. I didn't notice a vast difference except at motorway speeds where it really shines. I'm not slating it, just pointing out what I felt as I was...
I like the Mk2 V6 a lot except for the scary lightness at the front end at speed and the interior. For the money I'd have thought they could have done better than whack in a standard Clio dash!
In a straight line from standing you aren't going to notice much difference over a 182 but at higher...
Personally wouldn't touch those with a barge pole. A couple of mates bought similar if not the same from ebay, both packed up after about a month. No support for them at all, no comeback, nothing! They threw them away in the end!
Hope you get it sorted, but cheap copies are never as good as the...
^^What he said, torrents! I use uTorrent but that doesn't search. I use a lot of different sites, some you can sign up for, some you don't and some you need invites for. You can get a lot from piratebay, isohunt etc. There are a lot of specialist sites out there too that have a lot of rarer...
As said before, for everyday and "spirited" driving you aren't going to notice the difference. Never saw the point of the 182 cup and wouldn't give up the spec of a FF for one. As Evo put it "Sunday market interior".
Yeah PVR is probably the way to go. I have a Sony DVD recorder and it is fine as I tend to only use it to watch films and record stuff when I'm out or spmething's on the other side. It does have only one digital tuner but so does my TV so it doesn't matter!
Well the Fuji F-31 beat the sh*t out of the Sony and Canon on the Gadget show the other week. It is over £200 though. I have a Pentax Optio that's great. The Optio S7 is good value at around £140.
I found the lightness at the front end quite unnerving at higher speeds over bumps, maybe 'cos I'm used to the 182. Do love the noise and looks but for the money I'd probably get something else like an Elise.
Yeah, was just using mine as an example. It will be fine. They are pretty good and much better than just an external HDD as you can swap the drives around.
