Yes, it will look better. HDMI basically sends digital signals instead of others that are analogue.

Sony 36" LSD???!!! I want one of those. Get it, no difference, lots of threads about this. I spent about £15 but mates have bought them for £2.99 and have been just as good. Big money on them is just a complete waste.
