Yes mate for sure! They really do sound fantastic, there was a few cars running bodies at CSS15 and not only do they sound epic they go really well too! Even bothering the turbo'd 182's. I will follow your thread with interest bud, to see your thoughts on the bodies once everything is sorted!

Haven't done an update for a while so here goes! The belts were due this September, not based on mileage but coming up to the five year interval. So I thought I'd get them done a little earlier especially with a track session booked at CSS15. Me and a mechanic friend from work tackled the job...

It looked superb on track! Even pushing that turbo'd Arctic blue 182 out of the way! Such a shame Renault didn't offer that colour for 182's as standard. My only criticism though is that I think the car would look much better with a standard rear bumper, but that's just my opinion!

@KrisRS182 I know you got some photo's of that car. Did you get any video footage?

That the one with red wing mirror's and the rear bumper cut out Dan? If so, it sounded mental! Had a good look round after his session he kindly left the bonnet up. Cheeky little ABS delete as his n/s/r tyre kept locking up lol! Either way its made me want to put bodies on the Trophy!

Shame your not down in Hampshire bud, as I could of sorted you out some tyres! :wink:

I'm pretty sure it went pop whilst you were behind me bud! My friend @KrisRS182 was behind you at the time and has the whole thing on his GoPro he should be uploading it later!

What an awesome weekend! I had an amazing time! My first CSS and hope to attend many more! Met a few of you lot and finally got to meet @Dr Jekyll which was a pleasure lol! Mark your car is stunning and a credit to you. I even won some brake pads in the raffle! What more could you want? :wink...

Great write up bud! I remember seeing your mx5 up for sale on pistonheads and thought what an evil looking piece of kit! I used to have a mk1. They really are cracking little cars!

I'm giving mine a good clean this Thursday after work, however I'm under no illusion that after driving four hours to get up to Blyton the Trophy is not going to look great...
