I thought that maybe because the rear disc/bearing doesn't actually touch this stub axle that it wouldn't get too hot?
What do you mean by the bearing face? I don't quite follow sorry :o
Should have called it silver gold then lol
Had a little read up. I think I was there the same time that M3 video was filmed. The guy with the white one was staying at the same place as us. Looked awesome.
No sure if it's actually called a hub on the rear or a stub axle? Correct my terminology if you know.
But, how hot do these two parts get ? ?
Looking very worn on my car and wanted to give them a quick lick of black paint before I finish off putting the car back together.
What I wanted to...
Yeah that's what I did. Still need to do the hub pinch bolt and the ball joint bolts.
Think i'll go with your sheet and do them at 75nm for now. 42 seems too low to me.
So 90nm and 55nm thanks a lot mate.
You've not got the ball joint nuts to hand there have ya lol!
What ive written down from that link is 40nm. That can't be right for them surely!?
Still can't fine the torque for the 3 wishbone to subframe bolts??
or the pinch bolt in the hub!?
trying to get them done and dusted tonight so any quick replies be much appreciated
cheers
Re: 'Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc'
Saddens me to hear this lol. Such a lovely car and you've put so much time/money/effort into getting it where it is now.
