all i will say is find someone who will map it for you. if you cant, find another brand. i went for omex as 90% of places will touch it.
id stay away from piggy backs with renaults. their immobilisers are a pain.

F7r is the predecessor to the f4r (Clio sport engine) lots of people get good reliable power out of them and they drop straight I to your Megane with little fuss with electrics

If I were you I'd get stand alone management and make your own wiring loom. It's really easy and cost me in total less than £500.

as for brakes I bilieve the scenic rear disks are bigger so careful with that. They should be bolt on though. I used fiat coupe brembos on the front and f7r coupe disks on the back (same as Clio sport disks/calipers)

yes f7r with internal mods and a t28 of some kind.
gearbox is a sore subject, my advice would be stock up on standard ones and just change them when required. its prefferable to trying to get another box to fit.

infact im im convinced the entire front end is swappable with a Clio.
as for the OP your going to need to splice looms and either swap the steering racks or get a bracket and pulley made to replace the pump, or find a new route for the belt
If it's anything like my car, which is likely, the brake pedal and clutch pedal drop out with removing the pivot bolt, the throttle just unbolts off, and the master cylinder along with brake and clutch pedal braket unbolts from the inside and tips taken out through the engine bay

you can't spec anything on an st1, apart from maybe the city pack (folding mirrors and parking sensors) so no st colours as paint is extra. You get no heated windscreen, no climate control iirc. St1 is pointless when for an extra £2k you get loads more with the option of adding more
Swansea uni have had a big hand in designing this, when I went down there on the open day for my course they took us around the workshops where hey have a model of this. They have all the bits and bobs there where they designed the body etc. was pretty cool tbh
