On my standard airbox could I do away with the cold air feed pipe that goes into the airbox from just in front of the wheel and replace it with a pipe that I could run straight from the front of the car so it gets more cold air? Also I have took this pipe out of the a/box so its sounds...

Got a 182 cup blue with stripes,4.5k had temp.sensor fault,usual Renault sh*te service,alarm keeps beeping (think its down to sensor under the bonnet)cracking car though engine getting better the more miles I do,the only thing is brake fade when going hard ,better pads/discs will sort this out...

Temp.sensor,had mine done after 2500miles.Temp.sensor tells the engine its cold when it is hot and puts the choke on,flooding the fooker(good for a smoke screen though!!)

Came past and wasnt creeping past if you know what I mean,I f*cked up 3rd to 4th but it was on its way past anyway dont think I could of held him off anyway:oops:

Forgot to say,got burnt off by a cooper s on the way home up a bank but in a straight line:o,didnt think they were that quick unless it was modded.To be honest looked slightly different from a normal one,perhaps works?

The mechanic showed my dad the problem,the nylon bush was to big and he couldnt get the circlip back on something like that?

I didnt even get to the stage of paying but I have paid a £50 deposit(which I WILL BE GETTING BACK),I wouldnt have paid a penny more than they said.

It was £179.99 for the B&M and £30 to fit it ,but I said so £200 fitted if ordered today and they said ok.

I may well do that depending on what gets sorted out!!

Does any 1 know how much a gear knob for a 182 from renault would be out of curiousity?

I thought it would have been a 30 min job max. on a ramp but when he took it in he said it would be 1 hour,I could have fitted myself but they said they would fit it for £20 so I thought it would save me getting my hands dirty.That is the one they ordered for the r5,clio etc.:confused:
