Erm, looks like you've got a massive weight in the boot! A little bit lopsided for my liking have to admit.
If the car's going to lean one way, it should be leaning forward for me... reverse rake. :)
Guys, please avoid posting spoilers of the SP plot / ending... some people may not be as accomplished at, uh, playing computer games, as you but still would like the plot to be a surprise.
Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
There's something similar for Orange customers that I used to have on my old phone. It was absolutely rubbish quality though, could rarely even see the ball in a footy match!
Is this good enough quality? WiFi only on a non-jb'd phone is a bit rubbish though. 3G is...
If you're a casual gamer then both will become fancy paperweights after a month or so... but both will suit your needs fine.
XBox cheaper and currently has the best driving game out.
PS3 a bit more, has Uncharted 2 and Gran Turismo 5 (soon) and can play Blu-Ray discs.
There really isn't the...
Well, I've given it a couple hours this evening and have to say I like what I've seen so far.
The airport level disappointed me a bit tbh. All good fun but not the best level in terms of shooting people that can shoot back.
I suck btw, and already finding it difficult on "Regular". The...
Sorry, haven't had a chance to look at it tonight.
Tell you what's easier... go to the www.overclockers.co.uk forums and join up on there. Post a "spec me..." thread in the General Hardware forum with requirements and a budget and they'll post up various baskets of stuff that'll do the job...
Spending over £10k on a £6k car!?!
Would rather sell the car and have a £16k budget for something else tbh!
But, yeah, a good list as far as "decent mods" goes...
Agree, people always w**k over the latest GFX but they upgrade so often that the truth is that you can get a fairly cheap card (older model, not budget brand) that will do the job for casual gaming.
There's better people than me on here for specc'ing up a system but I'll have a look for you...
Dammit, I picked this up yesterday evening knowing I couldn't play it until after work today. I promised myself I wouldn't be sad and get all excited about it...
... I just want to get home now!
I'd recommend building your own if you're mildly competent, it's easy. Even if you buy a half decent base unit, there will always be short cuts taken to bring the cost down. Your
PC will only be as good as it's weakest component...
I'm pleased with my PS3 as I'm a casual gamer and make more use of the Blu-ray player. However, if I had bought the PS3 solely as a games console and intended to use it as much as serious gamers do, I'd be a bit pissed off at it's lack of development tbh.
I sold my near-mint ph1 with 70k on the clock over 2 years ago for £3500.
Dunno how prices have fallen since, but that seems a little high. However, a decent warranty is invaluable and you'll always pay more at a garage...
The pro's can be very good at stone chip repairs, but I wouldn't consider getting it done within a 'detail'.
It'll involve a fair bit of work over a few days, done properly.
Re: someph-ing different...........
Look forward to the 'proper' updates mate...
You may have guessed I'm not in work so far this week; a touch of the swine I think. Good luck for tomorrow (?) mate.
Top kit would be fine to start out mate; be careful that you'll be buying smaller backing plates and pads in no time though!
You'll also need some decent non-tack masking tap (3M blue) and some dedicated MF cloths.
I've found it fairly tricky to get the hang of if I'm totally honest. It took...
Re: someph-ing different...........
Ah yeah, forgot you had that coming up. Off work for a few weeks?
I didn't say anything about borrowing... the adapters alone will probably cost hundreds!
Re: someph-ing different...........
What you driving in the meantime?
Can I have your Image wheels for free next weekend? They'll go nice with the coilovers...
Has it got to be the G220? The Kestrel DAS6 is just as good and cheaper IIRC...
You'll find kits on the usual websites... I think the best polishes to go with are the Menzerna range.
