    5W gives the engine better protection from cold. I imagine you do a lot of short journeys and cold starts? Halfords own 5w-40 is decent enough, Castrol has been known to make Renault engines sound a bit tappety.

    You could use Chemical Guys E-Z Creme Glaze, that leaves behind an acrylic layer which is ideal for topping with a sealant.

    Used EX-P on the gf's china blue 206 and it stayed clean for ages (and this is a car that normally gets dirty by itself within a couple of hours)- good stuff I reckon.
