tbh, looking at it, me too, might leave them blue.
its just that some knob jockey has scuffed the mirror casing so the passenger side one cud do with a respray.
cud go chrome, audi S3 stylee, hehe.
Wheels are in for an anthracite refub within the next 2 weeks of so, as well as the side badges.
Are the wing mirrors ala 'Meggy Cup' anthracite a bit too much, or does it look good in the collective opinion of cliosport?
saw u just getting into ur car, then u went off down toward the petrol station, i was in my dads merc tho. ur trophy looks fookin gorgeous mate!
Lewis.
so far as im aware: get the front end up, then just screw the self tapping screws in, shud be too much of a prob. Im not sure if there are pilot holes already in the bumper tho.
drive it sensibly mate and ull be fine. This time of year the roads are covered in grit, salt, mud and all kinds of other crap as well as being damp most of the time so it will be fairly lively.
i dunno weather or not itll pass an mot, even so i wouldnt feel safe knowing the potential was there to have my ribcage crushed, lol. I have no idea how to mount them to the original mounts either, presumably theres some kind of adaptor doo-daa for that, ud have to speak to sum1 else with...
looks fookin awesome mate. only thing i would say is dont mount ur harnesses to the strut brace, in the event of a crash, if the back end is twisted they could be pulled tight and cud crush you, mount them to the rear seat belt fixtures.
apart from that, awesome!!!
theyve lowered it and given it a fancy colour and whacked a few stickers on there. same kinda thing as the 182 trophy i guess. no doubt they'll sell like hot cakes.
i went for a cup becuase theres less of them abaout, and i wnated turinis, and cup spoiler. plus i got mine at an absolute steal. It turns loads of heads, it drives amazingly, yet its useable enough for everyday driving.
It all comes down to those times when ur on your own,its 11pm, the temp...
could yopu not feel the front end wiggling about for jesus? my pe2's are starting to get low and the front end is definately becoming lively now. Sounds like a quality cop tho, there shud be more like this.
one of the better 'insane' ones i think, doesnt look too bad. not my bag tho. You'll get mixed opinions on here dude, just warning you now, lol Good work chap.
with regard to top end its all about the luck of the draw really. My cup requires a steep downhill, and a gale force tail wind to get past 130mph, but having said that the low end accelerarion seems better than most RS's, its noticably quicker than a 182 cup, so i would worry too much, how often...
hehe, i cant, i love it too much. ill give direct line a shot, cheers. elephant seems promising at the mo tho. if i add my mum as a named driver it drops a further £200 or so.
and m!keydee: JESUS lord above dude, £4200 to insure a 1.6???? thats insane.
thatd be grat, but im 20, and i had a crash in nov so i lost my no claims, lol. I'm with adrian flux atm and i definately will not be renewing with them, no way.
yeah i dont have a grat deal of spare cash atm but 1600 isnt so bad at all, , gonna geta few more qoutes later and see whee we are.
I HATE CAR INSURANCE.
*ahem*
is the bumble bee going bubs?
ive got a few qoutes on the cup so far, cheapest being £1600 which is much better so i may yet get to keep it, which will awesome. im still looking around tho. I dont want her to go, lol.
