This game looks SO good, and the shear amount of cars, old and new looks awsome!
I may get it delivered on time but can't play til next bloody week as me and the gf are in the lake district this weekend. Fail lol
I dont think there's a thread for anything like this so here goes.....Post pics of your favourite cars manufactured any time before 1990, as old as you like from road cars, modified, standard, race cars...whatever!! :approve:
FUN!! I had to remove a s**t load from the inside of an alloy before, took ages and a LOT of engine degreaer, a few paint brushes and soapy hot water and brake cleaner. got there in the end!
So long as its proper C.V. joint grease, not just "generic" grease.
Minging stuff certainly!!! Make sure you get the clips on properly or it'll find its way out and over everything!!
Finished "Plasti-dipping" the OZ F1 track wheels, very happy with how they came out....
I was only trial fitting one wheel hence why only 2 wheel bolts in ;)
Any chance this thread can be moved into the "Projects" area? thanks :)
EDIT: Bare with me, the pics are coming up cr*p....lol
ARRRRGHHHH so frustrating when you put in a clean lap then run over a line right near the end!!!!
I've got a 1.44.6 clean, I cant see how people are in the 1.38's (clean) :headno::race:
October Danny, dom posted it up in the trackdays section. Msv are always very organised I find, not used opentrack myself so not sure about this queing malarky lol
I managed to get into the high 1.42's but I have to take the double right hander (with the HUGE run off) really wide and get a better exit speed. I cant see where else to make the time up to beat it without running wide, it always goes wrong if I don't!
It's the same when you spend hours cleaning and polishing your own car, stand back and think it looks good to then see another one that looks even more shiney and flawless lol
But as said, its because you know every blemish and fault with your own.
